JB JACKET BOARD Unit Availability: 8’3” units with trimbacks developing  available in 4/4, 5/4, & 8/4. 4/4 12’ available.  JB is similar to a narrow Custom / Highline Common grade well suited for cross cutting applications for use in panel production, maximizing sound back, clear one face (C1F) cuttings. JB produces clear one face cuttings 24 to 48 inches (60.96 to 121.92 cm) that are available for panels, casegood fronts and tops and, cabinets requiring one clear exposed surface. Widths: 3 inches (76.20 mm) to 4.5 inches (114.30 mm). Lengths:  72 inch (182.88 cm) minimum. Minimum Size Cuttings: 2 inches (50.80 mm) by 24 inches (60.96 cm). No Limit to the number of cuttings allowed. Grade Notes: This grade admits all boards of 24 inches (60.96 cm) and over, surface measure yielding not less than 50 percent clear one face (C1F) cuttings with the reverse side of the cuttings being a SOUND CUTTING. SIDE BEND is limited to 1 inch (25.40 mm). PIN KNOTS are not considered defect.
